We insert fine art detailing into the DNA of your prototype. The kind that has been inherited from the Classical Realism of Michaelangelo. Yeah, we’re talking that kind of detail and artistry.
Design continues during development, as nuances and details are realized. The full-size, clay prototype emerges from pre-approved, design-intent sketches.
Clients may be on-site for final refinements, but we also work remotely through photography. And sometimes opportunities appear in photos that are hard to see in person.
This phase ends with a completed pre-production casting, fully resolved, and ready for shipping to a manufacturer for post-production.
Clients will receive a digitally captured scan of the clay prototype, which serves as an archive.
The clay prototype does not survive the casting procedure. The scan may be used for laser rapid-replication of the prototype. (Note that a laser replicated prototype would still need to go through a hands-on finishing proceedure.)
Examples of approximate costs are shown below. Shipping not included. The actual cost for a prototype will be uniquely quoted in all cases. Actual costs depend on the level of sculpting detail and amount of finishing work.
Sourcing a manufacturer is an added service, and will be quoted separately. Veri Designs has contacts with the best manufacturers in the industry.
